By accessing or using English Tree, you agree to these Terms. The App, its content, and services are the sole property of Modern Skills Centre (Nuthana Nipunatha Kendraya) and Tharindu K. Jayasinghe.

1. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and all activities under your account.

2. Intellectual Property Rights

All content, including but not limited to:

Lessons
Flashcards
CEFR assessments
Designs, logos, systems, and methodologies

are protected under Sri Lankan intellectual property laws and international intellectual property laws and treaties.

Unauthorized use—including copying, reproduction, redistribution, reverse engineering, or commercial use—is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

Cheat or manipulate test results
Abuse, harass, or harm other users
Attempt to hack, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the App
Use the App for unlawful or unauthorized purposes

4. Service Availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time without prior notice. We are not liable for any interruptions or loss of access.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law: English Tree and its owners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. This includes, but is not limited to: Loss of data, Loss of learning progress, Loss of income or opportunities. Your use of the App is at your sole risk.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including: Fitness for a particular purpose, Accuracy of content, Continuous availability. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless English Tree, Modern Skills Centre (Nuthana Nipunatha Kendraya), and Tharindu K. Jayasinghe from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from: Your misuse of the App, Violation of these Terms, Infringement of any third-party rights.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms. No refunds will be issued in such cases.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising out of or relating to the use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka. Additionally, all intellectual property rights are protected under applicable international intellectual property laws and treaties.
